Ngram treemaps¶

Summary¶

Below are treemaps for the top 100 English and Spanish humanitarian headwords, by frequency. They show how the headwords appear within longer ngrams: access humanitarian access access for humanitarians. The charts give us a snapshot of hyponyms for each headword (types of access), with children in nested boxes. Box size is determined by term frequency, and box color indicates how the term's frequency has changed over the last 25 years (hotter colors indicate an increase in usage).

The charts are interactive: click on a box of terms (called a leaf) and it will zoom in to show its content. Click the topmost item to move back to higher levels.
